Business Development Associate
Straticon’s Business Development Associates play a key role in driving the company’s growth by fostering relationships with developers, local governments, and prominent business clients. The team focuses on generating new opportunities in high-end residential, luxury developments, and large-scale commercial construction. This role combines research, networking, client engagement, and collaboration to solidify Straticon’s presence as a premier general contractor throughout Florida.
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for entering all information in salesforce and CMiC that align with the BD department SOPs this is a requirement for compensation for comp and bonuses, required BD associate follows apartment SOPs, and does not step outside the responsibilities of their position.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to build relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and potential client needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities within Salesforce ensuring accurate tracking and updates.
- Collaborate with marketing to create tailored materials and campaigns for target clients, including presentations and case studies.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to introduce Straticon’s services and explore project opportunities.
- Partner with internal teams, including preconstruction and marketing, to ensure seamless handoff and support for potential projects.
- Prospect for new business through networking, cold calling, and referrals, qualifying leads to align with company capabilities and goals.
- Work closely with the Business Development team to coordinate strategies and attend monthly and annual functions together.
- Prepare detailed reports on business development activities, progress toward goals, and strategic insights to guide decision-making.
- Build long-term client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor and maintaining regular follow-up communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in Luxury Residential
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Office 365 (required), with the ability to analyze data and present findings
- Experience with CMiC preferred
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities within the market.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create persuasive presentations.
- Team-oriented approach with a willingness to collaborate across departments.
- Commitment to understanding the construction industry, including project lifecycles and client needs
