As the founder and CEO of Straticon, Mr. Hardin oversees all projects from inception to completion and ensures that they are properly staffed, on schedule, within budget, and adhering to Straticon’s precise expectations. With more than three decades of construction experience and leadership, his firm has built a reputation as one of the region’s most respected firms, with a portfolio that includes new construction, renovations, and historic preservation. Mr. Hardin has worked with the nation’s most elite developers, including but not limited to Related Group, Blackstone, Black Rock, and the Trump Organization, among many others. Mr. Hardin earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Western Michigan University and began his MBA at the University of Michigan.

What's the most inspiring part of working at Straticon?
The entire process of each project, from working with our clients to develop the project to watching our team bring the vision to life. Every day I am inspired by how hard each of our team members work to ensure the utmost success of our projects.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
Your word is your bond. For me this transcends each aspect of our business. For as long as I have been in business, I have begun all projects on a “handshake deal”. To me, there is nothing more sacred than my word.
What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

What is your favorite past time when you are not at work?
Spending time on the water with our children, traveling back to Ann Arbor to cheer on Michigan.
