Business Development Associate
Straticon is expanding its Business Development team to include a few highly motivated individuals. These individuals will be a part of a team to foster new working relationships for large luxury homes, developments, and commercial businesses. Working individually, but most importantly as a team, to increase our construction presence throughout Florida. Outgoing individuals seeking hard work and perseverance to accomplish both professional and financial success would thrive in this position. Individuals must be able to communicate with confidence as we need to build relationships with developers, local governments, and prominent business clients. Our customers, who desire to build amazing properties and developments, are looking for a company they can trust to see their project dreams come true. Business Development team members will be able to maintain and work with each client introduced to the company to turn their dreams into projects and continue a strong long‐lasting relationship.
General Responsibilities
- Willing to familiarize yourself with the company’s vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives
- Collating and maintaining client information in the CRM database
- Develop practices based on industry knowledge and company needs
- Set up weekly meetings with new leads to introduce yourself and the company
- Work in a positive manner with the Business Development team to attend annual and monthly functions together
- Research, identify, cultivate, network, and acquire new business with emphasis on creating new business opportunities
- Be collaborative and effective in understanding and working with a wide spectrum of personalities
- Prospect for new business, make cold calls, develop leads, qualify customer needs and business fit, and create sales opportunities
- Attend staff meetings regularly to provide updates on Business Development
Qualifications:
- Self‐motivated and capable of planning and prioritizing work
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills or the ambition to learn the skills, programs, technology, and processes
- Positive interpersonal skills
